So I ran another marathon. Had some medical problems. Started a business. Volunteered a crap load of hours at my kids school. Now, I reminisce about my previous running times and my expanding waist line.
Let's state some facts:
I ran a crap marathon (time wise not fun with my friends wise). 4:25. That's just sad. I was running some of my long runs at 8:35pace for 20-22 miles. Then a few health issues happened. Having said that I was doing really well on my marathon. I was ahead of the four hour pace group until mile 22. That's when my ITBand fell apart.
I have gained 15lbs since running said marathon. The worst part is it was a month and a half ago. Dang!
I have done no cross training and I miss it.
I want my kids to play and be very active outside this summer.
I need to get my butt off the computer and go to my workout. Chat later.
